In February 2026, Coinbase launched Agentic Wallets -- infrastructure that lets AI systems initiate payments autonomously. The same month, researchers published zkAgent, a system for cryptographically proving that an LLM ran correctly.
These aren't isolated developments. They're the first pieces of a trust layer for autonomous machines.

The Cypherpunk Vision, Reopened
The 1993 Cypherpunk Manifesto had a simple thesis: "Privacy is the power to selectively reveal oneself to the world."
